Visible Light is electromagnetic radiation of a wavelength that is visible to human eye (about 400- 700nm), however in the broader field of physics, light is the electromagnetic radiation of all wavelengths both visible and invisible to the human eye. Susruta and AryaBhata proposed the origin of light as external evolution. There are many others in the sequence. In Vedas and later Sanskrit texts also such as Sayanacharya’s Bhashya we get glimpse of optics which has to be researched further.
