Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a ship and trying to see what danger is lying ahead in the way of the ship. Assisted by Binoculars you can see till the maxium focus is reached. After that what? What if you had to see what is lying 100 kms away from the ship? would you use the Binoculars to see? you cannot then what is the only way to do this?. The solution is one has to use the helicopter in the ship. One should travel to a distance ahead of the ship to see what is lying on its way and then come back and land. This way we can mitigate dangers for a ship by travelling on a helicopter. Now let us analyse what has happened in this hypothetical situation. Virtually, you were standing on the ship. That means , you were attached to the ship physically. Once attached you were handicapped to operate flexibly and had to use all the constraints and yet you could achieve little. Now when you used the helicopter, you raised above the ship. In other words you got detached. Once you were free like a bird, you could travel and see the danger ahead clearly and you could come back to alert the ship.

Now let us use two words here "Attachment" and "Detachment". Definetly you would agree that being attached yielded few results whereas being detached yielded a clear view of the present danger in the above example.Likewise in life, the more we are attached to emotions and weaknesses, the pain is more while the more we raise above ourselves and become free or detached from emotions and weaknesses, there is only pleasure.

Why do we donot gain happiness when we do the same things again and again? thats because, repeated things done for a purpose results law of diminishing returns (ie; for every usage, the happiness derived diminishes eventually resulting in frustation). But when repeated things are done with a purpose , then one is detached from the happiness derivative and hence remains happiness always.

"Work with Happiness" takes the place of "Work for Happiness"
