What will save the Vedas?

Questions may arise as to what will save the vedas as the people who used to protect them by learning them have become so fewer in number. What will happen to these treasures? How to protect them? we have no answers as we can see them being destryed in front of our eyes. Our culture totally depends on the fundamentals of vedas and the very vedas are today in such a dire situation of extinction. What have our forefathers the rishis devised as a form to keep the kowledge alive?

The answer lies in the nature itself. When a cheetah goes on hunting, it never repeats the same mistake any hunting disaster committed by its parents. This is because though there are no institutes or coaching centers for cheetahs to learn hunting even then the information is passed on to them through genes. The genes record the mistakes and learnings of the parents on to its offspring. The offspring adds value and this goes on and on. This is the nature's way of preserving learning.

Brahmins, Kshatriyas and Vysyas are the decendants of great Rishis. The Rishis created progeny only after they became the most spiritual and brahmarishis. Their total knowledge is preserved in the Y chromosomes of all the males of that Gotra or clan. The only way to get the knowledge back is through self meditation. Not only knowing but believing and eventually realising that we are nothing but the rishis themselves in different bodies and time. The day we realise who actually we are and we know how to read the Y chromosome of the rishi to whom we belong, we can revive the vedas back to their original form.

The vedas are within ourselves preserved in the Y chromosomes. Thats the secret.

It is a very interesting take on the loss of vedic knowledge. There are a few more reasons why we have lost touch with our heritage. 1. Caste system, which stops from genuine interested people from reading, understanding and practicing vedas. 2. Loss of the knowledge of true self by teachers. When the teacher does not realize what he/she is passing on to the pupil. How can they even hope the pupil realize what they are saying?

Vedas are guides to self realization. We have long forgotten the true purpose of them. Now we have given it a religious name. we conduct ceremonies and poojas for some gain from the gods. As all yogis say, "A person takes the path of spirituality when he/she has payed for all the past karma". Meditation means different to different people. As long as people start doing it, some day they will realize the true purpose of it, that it self realization.
