Environmental Sciences / Earth Sciences

Any of several essentially geologic sciences that are concerned with the origin, structure, and physical phenomena of the earth are included in earth sciences. Our ancient sages had interference in this field of science also. Many Sanskrit texts contain the concepts of environmental sciences. In this section we are to discuss knowledge of earth sciences in ancient India and in Sanskrit texts.
